Pani Kotha

Panikotha is a fortress in the middle of the sea, in the shape of a ship. It served as the main prison complex when the Portuguese ruled Diu. It also has a light house and a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Sea.

Diu Fort

 Built in 1535 by portugese, the Diu fort was listed as one of the seven wonders of Portugal rule.It is surrounded by water from three sides and provides a magnificent view of the sea making it one of the most desirable tourist attraction.

St. Paul Church

The church is one of the oldest in India.The architecture of this church is famous for being one of those few in the country which are designed in the Baroque style.

Gangeshwar Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, there are five Shiva lingas set amidst the rocks of the seashore. These stones are believed to have been placed here by the Pandavas during their period of exile.

Naida Caves

Located outside the Diu fort, the caves have an intricate network of tunnels and huge step like structures that make the caves a must visit site.

Khukri memorial

INS Khukhri is a war memorial that was built in the memory of the army officers and sailors who chose to go down with the warship INS Khukri during the Indo-Pak War of 1971.
